TODO(founder/legal): This policy is part of the Terms of Service, whose contracting entity and governing law are pending final founder and legal sign-off. Review this policy together with the Terms before it is offered for acceptance.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of the Saynovo Terms of Service. It applies to your use of the Saynovo platform and to every website, page, and piece of content created, edited, hosted, or published through the Service, whether generated by AI, supplied by you, or imported from a connected account. You are responsible for compliance by anyone who uses your account or acts on your behalf. If anything on your site or in your use of the platform violates this AUP, we may act under Section 3 below regardless of whether the content was AI-generated: you approve what is published, so you are responsible for it.

1. Prohibited Content on Hosted Sites

You may not publish, host, link to, or promote through the Service any content that:

  • Illegal. Violates any applicable law or regulation, or promotes, facilitates, or instructs illegal activity.
  • Deceptive or fraudulent. Is false, deceptive, or misleading, including fake business identities, bait-and-switch offers, fraudulent pricing or financing claims, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, or scams of any kind.
  • False credentials. Claims a license, certification, bond, insurance, accreditation, award, association membership, or regulatory approval that the business does not actually hold (for example, "licensed contractor", "EPA certified", or a trade-license number that is invalid, expired, or belongs to someone else).
  • Fake reviews and testimonials. Contains fabricated, purchased, or materially misleading reviews, testimonials, ratings, "before/after" results, or endorsements, or misrepresents the source or independence of a review.
  • Impersonation. Impersonates or falsely implies affiliation with another business, person, brand, or government body, including cloning a competitor's site, name, or branding.
  • Infringing. Infringes or misappropriates any copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, or other proprietary right, including photos, logos, text, or portfolios you do not have rights to use.
  • Malicious. Contains malware, spyware, phishing or credential-harvesting pages, deceptive downloads, browser exploits, hidden redirects, cloaked content, or link schemes; or is designed to manipulate search engines through deceptive techniques.
  • Adult and exploitative. Contains pornography or sexually explicit material, or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors (which we will report to authorities).
  • Hateful or violent. Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against people based on protected characteristics; threatens, harasses, or doxxes any person; or glorifies terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Regulated goods and high-risk schemes. Offers or promotes weapons, explosives, illegal or prescription drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, unlicensed gambling, unlicensed financial, medical, or legal services, cryptocurrency or investment schemes, or other regulated goods or services without all required authorizations. We may decline to host categories we consider high-risk even where technically legal.
  • Privacy-violating. Publishes personal data of others without a lawful basis, including scraped contact lists or customer data used without consent.

2. Prohibited Use of the Platform

You may not, and may not attempt or help anyone else to:

  • Abuse the AI pipeline. Use generation or talk-to-edit features to produce content prohibited by Section 1; probe, jailbreak, or manipulate the AI with prompt-injection or similar attacks; attempt to extract, reconstruct, or exfiltrate Saynovo's system prompts, pipeline logic, model configuration, templates, or other customers' data or sites; or use the Service to develop or train a competing product or model.
  • Extract source code. Download, scrape, crawl, mirror, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain or reproduce the generated site code, platform code, templates, or design system, except to the extent a law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
  • Resell or share. Resell, sublicense, rent, white-label, or offer the Service or generated sites to third parties as your own service; operate one account on behalf of multiple unrelated businesses without a written agreement with Saynovo; or share account credentials outside your business.
  • Overload or circumvent. Send excessive automated requests; use bots, scripts, or automation to drive generation or editing beyond normal interactive use; circumvent, manipulate, or exploit edit-token metering, plan limits, rate limits, or free-tier restrictions (including creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free generations); or interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service or other customers' sites.
  • Compromise security. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written permission; bypass authentication or access controls; or access accounts, sites, or data that are not yours.
  • Misuse connected accounts. Connect a Google Business Profile, domain, or other third-party account you do not own or lack authority to use, or use imported data in violation of the third party's terms.
  • Send spam. Use the Service, or any form or capability on a hosted site, to send unsolicited bulk messages or to collect consents in a deceptive manner.

3. Enforcement

Saynovo may, at its sole discretion and with or without prior notice: remove or edit content, unpublish or take a site offline, disable a custom domain connection, suspend or restrict features (including AI generation and editing), suspend or terminate an account, and/or ban repeat offenders. Where the violation is minor and curable, we will normally notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix it, but we are not required to do so, especially for content or conduct we consider unlawful, harmful, or a risk to Saynovo, our providers, other customers, or the public.

We do not pre-screen customer sites and have no obligation to monitor, but we may review any site or account activity at any time, including in response to complaints, automated flags, or requests from our infrastructure and AI providers.

We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement or regulators and may share related information as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law. Content that exploits minors will be reported.

No refunds or credits (including for unused subscription time or edit tokens) are owed for suspension or termination caused by an AUP violation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Enforcement or non-enforcement in one case does not waive our right to enforce in another. If a third party (including Google, Anthropic, our hosting providers, or Stripe) requires us to act against your content or account under their policies, we may do so.

4. Reporting Violations

To report content or conduct that violates this AUP, use our report a site page or email [email protected] with the site URL and a description of the issue. Copyright complaints should follow the copyright-complaints process in the Terms of Service.

5. Changes

We may update this AUP as the Service and the legal landscape evolve, following the changes-to-terms mechanism in the Terms of Service. The version posted on this page is the current one.
